Palram Skylight Shelf Kit Tan Review

I expected better quality and durability of the shelf. Corrugated plastic won't hold my tool box or anything. You should have an empty box on that shelf in the picture. I don't see how it will hold up over time. Maybe I'll use brackets and make some wooden shelves.

I have two shelves which I bought primarily as functional shelves and am very happy with them. We have a Palram 6x8 greenhouse and they fit perfectly. I installed one in the back corner where I installed the humidifier and one in the front left corner that I use as a storage rack for items I use in the greenhouse. I find them very strong and I even think they increase the stability of the greenhouse.

Based on the pictures on the web the shelf should be attached to two posts at the ends. So this shelf and supports don't go with anything in the greenhouse. The photos on the web show that the supports are attached to the ends of the shelf. There are no pre-drilled holes in the lightweight plastic tray. We're going to drill holes in the bottom and hope the plastic shelf doesn't crack. To be honest, I don't understand how you can drill two metal screws into this thin plastic hollow shelf. PS…
