🔧 Wire Bead Panaracer Swoop Tire Review

Ok, just received and put on. The most important thing I wanted was a tire that said it was 2.25" and at least looked like it! Not to say it was 2.25 but to look like 1.95. It looks so cute! I only use my Litespeed off-road. I have a road bike! The profile looks great and I'm going to ride one of my favorite trails tomorrow morning to try it out. I got this for a rear tire. I have a 3.5" front tire and would do the same for the rear tire but it was too wide for my bike. The tire is directional.

I bought this tire because it was a great deal. I have used Panaracer tires many times in the past and have been very happy with their performance but have not mounted this particular tire yet. I bought it as a backup, I always like to have a few spares in the garage in case we need a replacement for one of our bikes. I will come back and update this review when I actually use the tire. They were purchased for a 1988 Schwinn rigid ATV (they weren't called mountain bikes then). The tires are easy to mount on the rims and fit well in the frame. The tires are directional, with an arrow on the sidewall indicating the preferred direction of rotation. The actual inflated dimension on my rims is pretty much exactly 2 inches wide.
