Not as good as Panasonic KX-TCA60

I am an industrial headset user as I work away from home and phone calls are (unfortunately) a big part of my workflow. I've been using the Panasonic KX-TCA60 for 8 years now (I bought 8 of them, each lasted about a year) and 7 months ago I decided to try something different. My only practical example is the KX-TCA60, and I can say that I like it a lot more than this KX-TCA430 in three dimensions: 1) clarity; 2) volume; and 3) comfort. Compared to the Panasonic KX-TCA60, the KX-TCA430 sounds…

WHEN WEIGHING THE HEADSETS, BE CAREFUL HOW YOU WEIGH THEM!

This headset works well with my desk phone. My message is not to dwell on the attributes of this topic but to warn all users using lightweight headsets of this type. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that this item was made in China and in that sense by close-up manufacturers. I also assume that the solder joint is small. I've had similar headsets and hung them up by the cord by mistake and over time they've failed because I think the constant tugging on the cord was stressing that…

The answer to my problem, I'm very happy with this headset

I call my husband in the evening when he drives home more than 2 hours and my hand is so I'm tired, the holding our landline phone, or my neck hurts from bending over to hold it between my head and shoulder so I can use my hands to get things done. I was hoping to find a wireless headset but haven't found one that sounds good enough. This headset sounds great. The volume could have been a bit louder, but that's probably more my fault than the product itself. Although the clarity is amazing…

Really good - computer accessories and peripherals

I didn't expect to really like this headset as I'm used to the other one which is now out of production. It works well, the sound is good, I hope it lasts a long time. Very glad I bought it. I don't feel any pressure from the headband and the microphone is in the right place where I don't notice it. The connection between the headset and the phone also seems to be quite good - it sits deep, doesn't hang down to break or separate. I've had it for a while and it still works fine. Due to my…

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

I use these headphones with my home phone. It uses a 2.5mm jack. Please note that Panasonic phones use a 2.5mm jack and these headphones come with a 2.5mm jack. Half of the negative reviews are written by people who think they are suitable for a cell phone. It doesn't work without an adapter. Cell 3.5mm. It's 2.5mm. Therefore, before purchasing this headset, check the size of the input jack. If your cell phone headset fits the phone you will be using, the 3.5mm jack. Do not take this headset…

Great quality but requires TWO adapters

Love it but two problems: (1) I bought my first Panasonic headset in 2007 and then replaced it in 2016 - not because of any sound issues but because the cheap ones Plastic vinyl coating on earcup came off poorly leaving black flakes on ear, shoulder and floor. Now the same problem with 2016. Should be replaced now, but not the sound because of the flakes. I'm attaching two photos so you can see what I mean (same headset, just one without flash, one with flash). (2) To use this with my iPhone I…
