This headset works well with my desk phone. My message is not to dwell on the attributes of this topic but to warn all users using lightweight headsets of this type. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that this item was made in China and in that sense by close-up manufacturers. I also assume that the solder joint is small. I use these headphones with my home phone. It uses a 2.5mm jack. Please note that Panasonic phones use a 2.5mm jack and these headphones come with a 2.5mm jack. Half of the negative reviews are written by people who think they are suitable for a cell phone. It doesn't work without an adapter. Cell 3.5mm. It's 2.5mm. Love it but two problems: (1) I bought my first Panasonic headset in 2007 and then replaced it in 2016 - not because of any sound issues but because the cheap ones Plastic vinyl coating on earcup came off poorly leaving black flakes on ear, shoulder and floor. Now the same problem with 2016. Should be replaced now, but not the sound because of the flakes.
