🔊 8" Round White Commercial Ceiling Speaker Grill by Parts Express - 13" Total Diameter Review

Fits what I was looking for to cover the side speaker holes left over from the Klipsh speakers I removed. Not what they were designed for but glad they were a cost effective solution. Left them to the new owners in case they wanted to add surround sound.

I work in an apartment building and do repairs. One of our speaker grilles had a serious rusting problem. I wanted to sand and paint. But for the price it wasn't worth it. The grille I ordered fits just like the old one and the speaker (8″) fits perfectly too. Very satisfied.

All four covers ordered had a bent corner. It's not noticeable when installed, but I'd like them not to be bent. The screws that came with it were ridiculous. A few drywall screws would save me a trip to the hardware store. In general, everything is installed and ready.

These grills exceeded our expectations - thick metal (good rigidity) - good paint coverage - included screws were packed in small bags to ensure they didn't scratch the grills. Worked great to cover up holes in the ceiling from old air conditioning ducts until the ceilings could be redone. Would order again without hesitation.

This speaker is perfect for my 8" weatherproof OSD speaker and I chose not to ceiling mount it because it comes with incredibly powerful little magnets. Found that the magnets hold the speaker cover more than adequately enough that I don't have to drill temporary holes in the ceiling. and maybe I'll use magnets if the speaker is constantly moving.

The previous owner of our home left 4 large holes in the ceiling and left wires dangling. I had satellite speakers that came with my Yamaha receiver. I was able to fit my existing speakers into the holes in the ceiling and cover them with these grilles. My speakers sit face down on the grille. I know this isn't the best way, but now I have 5.1 surround sound and a clear ceiling for less than twenty dollars. Each grid was wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent scratches during transit. The box was not damaged but the grille was bent in 2 places. The creases went through the folded edge making it impossible to undo. Otherwise it seems to be a good product. Price and size are what I'm looking for so I'll be back ordering, hoping for the best and updating this review when a new one comes out.
