The crowd is small but big.

Great product although small not a lot of yarn. For example, to make a blanket, you need 20 pieces. but perfect for small things. I bought. Very soft and shiny

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Makes you mad

Quality yarn: knitting and crocheting

I liked the quality. I bought this to knit a silk nightcap to protect my hair while I sleep. I am happy with the end result. However, not much yarn. I was able to finish my hat with almost 1 skein. Attached are photos of what I have and what's left. Luckily I don't have a big head and was able to finish it. I'll have to keep looking for larger skeins of finer yarn.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

Not suitable for people with skin allergies

I bought this yarn for my friend who is allergic to many kinds of fabrics. I was hoping that the combination of bamboo and silk in this yarn would work for her, but it turned out to be mixed with viscose, a semi-synthetic fiber that chapped her skin. I don't have these issues so will do something with yarn but I'm very disappointed that the product description doesn't specifically say viscose.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • confused

Nice sweet stuff.

This yarn is a joy to work with. It is made of silk and bamboo, which makes it soft and durable. Due to the high quality of the material, it works very quickly. I hope they don't stop releasing it because it seems like they will. It's getting harder and harder to find. Sorry I don't have a photo to upload. I hope I can make it later. I made it into a triangular shawl that you can wear every day or leave for special occasions like weddings. I hope that was helpful.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Too many knots!

I tried this yarn for a recent project and loved the colors and feel of the fiber, but was blown away by the number of times the yarn has been tied together! I bought eight skeins and they are quite small (65 grams) and each skein was tied halfway. I should have expected that with cheap yarn, but not for what I paid for it. When you braid the ends, they also loosen up very easily because the fiber is so silky. I don't think the clothes will hold up very well so I wasted eighty bucks. Won't be…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

The perfect yarn. if you choose the right project.

This yarn is soft, beautiful and fun to work with, BUT - in my opinion it should only be used for curtains where thickness is not a major concern, like scarves or shawls . If you're trying to make something that fits, even just a hat, you have to a) make it about 10% smaller than you think and b) go crazy. If it stretches, it will not return to its original size, even with ribs. I also found many knots in these strands. Personally, that doesn't bother me too much, but you have to consider that,

Sooo soft and shiny.

very soft and shiny. This is a beautiful yarn. But I am a total newbie and will leave this information to all other newbies. It doesn't look like wool. It's very smooth. It was impossible to knit with metal knitting needles, bamboo knitting needles turned out much better. It also doesn't have much stretch. I was thinking of making leggings out of it and decided on a scarf instead as there is no way. EDIT: Scarf didn't work either. The yarn is too smooth. Yarn envelopes just turn into a messy…

  • beautiful thing
