This yarn is soft, beautiful and fun to work with, BUT - in my opinion it should only be used for curtains where thickness is not a major concern, like scarves or shawls . If you're trying to make something that fits, even just a hat, you have to a) make it about 10% smaller than you think and b) go crazy. If it stretches, it will not return to its original size, even with ribs. I also found many knots in these strands. Personally, that doesn't bother me too much, but you have to consider that, especially since the balls are so small. However, ideally if you're doing something lacy, this yarn opens up beautifully - GREAT - during blocking. . Just use it on the right project and you'll be amazed at the results.
