What's not to like?

Very easy to use and very well made. Smooth action and a beautiful ending. Attaches to the table top with two clips so it can be easily removed when not in use.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Heavy Duty Bike Tool: Sport

Easy to install and holds my 65lb e-bike so easily. Strong grip and easy clamping with one hand on the bike and one hand on the handle. For the assembly I needed 4 anchor bolts (not included in the kit, but there was a bunch lying around). I'm so glad I invested in it.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Has Flaws

Great for (even intensive) home use.

I screwed the stand into a 4x6 piece that I can clamp in one of the few vise grips I have. Works very well, grips kids, road, mountain and e-bikes well. The swivel function is well thought out and all the important parts are made of durable metal. Totally worth the investment.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

More than enough for a home mechanic

Unless you're a professional mechanic servicing multiple bikes a day, this Park Tool stand is more than enough for the home mechanic's needs. It has a wide range of articulation and clamping and sits very firmly on my desk top. About half the price of the "Pro" models.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Minor issues

Major design flaw

If you use this vise to clamp the seat tube be careful because if the frame moves down during use (the vise moves to the top tube) , you will not be able to disengage the cam handle as the cam handle will hit the top tube. The jaws of the clamp must be longer to maintain clearance for cam handle rotation.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Good Price Reliable Bike Rack Clamp

This is a well made piece of equipment; it adjusts to different positions depending on the limited space and should work great in all scenarios. You can mount this repair stand on a bench or on a freestanding pedestal if you prefer, or maybe some other way. My bike shop recommended this brand to me and I'm very glad I have it and in my case it attaches easily to my garage work table.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Compatibility

Very easy to use and set up but where are the screws?

The product is very strong and stable, very easy to assemble, but there are no mounting screws. You want lagging quarter inch screws and in my case I needed something 2 1/4" long that would go through my 2" workbench and I could attach it on the other side with a washer and screw. I haven't had a chance to test and see if it can actually handle a larger profile on my electric bike, but it handles 65 pounds with ease. I think it took me about five minutes to assemble everything and start…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Security

Solid Steel - Cycling

You get what you pay for. Reviews of other bike repair stands seemed to address durability issues and plastic parts in particular. I have a heavy e-bike and didn't want to buy a tool twice. My daughter (mountain biker) recognized the Park Tool logo on the packaging she received and loved it - and with good reason. The expectation of a really reliable device was justified. While there is plastic in the jaw clamp just to cushion the hold of the bike frame, handlebars, and even the turnstile, it…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
