🐦 Pelican Ruck R60 Case (Tan): Unbeatable Durability and Versatility Review

I pack in all those little things that cost money when I travel. It doesn't hold much, but what it holds is safe, just like at home. I love the little divider tray that divides the space, and the inside of the lid has this rubber "net" to hold cords and flat items like a wallet or money.

I use this as a travel cigar humidor. Works perfectly. I keep a Boveda humidor in there to keep the humidity just right. The big box holds about 15 cigars plus my lighter and cutter. I know impregnation works because my cigars keep the right humidity level. An American cigar company sticks a sticker on them and sells them for three times their price.

Extremely well made, like all Pelican products. Bought the R60 with the intention of mounting it to a rail or quick access spot in a kayak. Now that I've seen how well made they are I will be ordering another smaller R40 for beach or fishing use. And maybe another R60 to put on top of my cool box for impenetrable storage.

I bought the R60 as a travel humidor. I wanted something to take with me on camping and golf trips where I didn't have to worry about good cigars being crushed if I was a bit careless with my luggage. The case is bulky for indoor storage, but like all Pelicans, it's incredibly well built and strong. Accessories fit well.
