Not worth the money

I love this pump and I have it in a 29 gallon tank, it doesn't filter that tank enough, they should have charged that amount of money for that filter.

Amazing product, the best in aquarium pumps and filters

We have two Penn Plax cascade filters in our aquariums. This is a much needed and amazing product. I would buy this product again and recommend it to family and friends

GOOD QUALITY - GREAT PRICE

Keeps our 75 gallon turtle tank clean - our two BIG turtles, Reggie and Luigi, love it too. These are the "saviors" who were saved in childhood and are now HUGE. We cling to them and don't want to let go just yet. The tank has been VERY clean for the past two months. Normally we have to clean it every month.

It turned out to be bigger than I expected so I just cut it out and it works great! Definitely tampered with and not use.

Bought to add the bottom of a filter that was too strong for my betta. It turned out to be bigger than I expected so I just cut it out and it works great! I definitely tampered with it and didn't use it for its intended purpose, but it works and adds extra filtration to my water :)

Works as it should.

Nothing fancy, it's a mechanical filter media for a canister filter. It works exactly as advertised. It fits perfectly with your cascade filter and is quite durable. I bought this as backup media that came with my filter, but as long as I'm using the two original gaskets I got, I hose them down every week when I clean the filter. I'd say that with care you could probably last at least six months on one of these (I'll use 3 months with no noticeable wear), if not longer. They're so cheap it…

For reference, each pack contains only 1 sponge (filter thread comes in a pack of 6). . . This is ideal for the bowls in the Cascade 1200 and 1500 canister filters. The sponge is quite coarse and catches the largest dirt particles. However, you will need a filter-threaded bowl or two to clean the water.
