Pentagon 83-DT5493 Heavy Duty Tool, 55-Gallon Drum Dolly, Single, Silver Review

The first question is that this is unassembled. There are 32 nuts and bolts in total, but half of those are in the leg posts and difficult to access. The real reason I am returning mine is the length of the screw. Install them nut down and the rollers cannot rotate. Mount them nuts up and you have 8 quarter inch high points that dig into your stem and not the flat part of the frame that holds it. It's just a pretty crappy product.

As others have said there is a design flaw so I cannot give the product five stars. The screws are still too long so they have to be fastened face up, which is a problem if you're using this on plastic drums. The solution was easy though: a 3/8" piece of plywood fit underneath and then I just cut out the part where the lug nuts were. I knew this was an issue when I bought the product but felt that since the next cart that would work would be twice the price I needed two so I could make…

Fit well designed nuts on top to allow the wheel to rotate. The only problem encountered is that the diameter isn't large enough to fit a wine barrel in, I will change by making a cut in the round ring with a hacksaw all around the blade and most likely make two cuts get opposite sides apart which should allow the bottom of the barrel to rest on the ground yet be strong enough to stay in tact and still be used for rolling if needed. Cart is great after fixing a small design flaw. Each of the 4 wheels has 4 bolts holding them. Two of these bolts are protected by a metal "canopy" on the outside of the car. However, the other two on each wheel are in the carriage. If they are mounted facing up they're probably fine if the drum you're using is steel, but if it's plastic like mine they're more likely to go through the plastic drum (like the one I use). Although the construction is very solid and good and the price is lower compared to other similar items I've found, I can't give this Kore more than 3 stars for one reason give. . That means on each wheel 2 bolts holding the wheels protrude into the area where the barrel sits. This block is very strong. Good workmanship and materials. But (t) the designer needs to double check his measurements. Wheel bolts are too long. The ones supplied are 16mm and when the locknut is tightened to hold the assembly together there is about 3.5-4mm protruding from the top of the locknut.
