🔥 Optimized Carbon Metallic Brake Pads by Performance Friction Corporation 756.20 Review

This is my second set of these brake pads. I've paired them with Applied Rotor Technologies rotors and put them on almost 100,000 miles. They are great for stopping and holding in hot or cold climates. I've lived in Florida and New England and they work well in all conditions. I am towing a large and heavy boat with no trailer brakes and they will stop it with no problem. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a Ford Superduty or similar truck.

So far so good. I didn't notice any more dust than any other pad I've had. Combined with the cryo treated power slot rotors on my '99 F350 Dually, I'm VERY happy with the braking performance. Much better than other named raptors I've had in the past. Bonus: Made in the USA. You can see the quality of the pads when you open the box. My experienced mechanic said it was the best he had ever seen. I'll buy again when the time comes.

Aside from dust and some squeaks, I had complete pad failure on one of the front pads with less than 40,000 miles on them. This is my wife's daily trip, who only tows our boat a few times a year, weighs only about 4,000 pounds and has trailer brakes. Stopping power was improved when the pads were new, but I noticed a significant decrease with age. UPDATE: Performance Friction took care of me on the failing pad. The pad change was about 75,000 miles and only one of the four front pads is worn so

I selected these Performance Friction Carbon Metal Pads (front and rear) for my 2002 Ford Excursion 4X4 with a 7.3 liter Powerstroke Diesel engine. I love how these pads brake and they seem to handle the extreme demands of such a heavy vehicle very well. I am confident in these Performance Friction pads knowing they will provide reliable braking and protect more than 9 members of my family. My only complaint is that they generate an unusual amount of dust, especially around the front wheel/rim.
