I needed a very long flathead screwdriver. It meets all requirements. It won't last a lifetime, but it's better than what you could get from Wal-Mart.

Well made tool for the price, does the job well and has a great grip. Just the right length. The head is a bit too big for small screws and doesn't go all the way to the thin tip. This item is suitable for medium sized pan head screws.

Given that screwdrivers are fairly simple machines, don't expect them to fail. With the screwdriver I have, the blade just twists in the handle when you have a stuck screw or one that really needs tightening, saving the screw from damage. Unlike the buyer.

Said I bought this screwdriver because of the "magnetic tip". This is NOT a magnetic tip. The tip of my screwdriver is NOT magnetized. I have subsequently bought other magnetic screwdrivers and they pick up steel screws as they should. They work, but this one doesn't. Mine is NOT magnetic.

This screwdriver comes with a warning about cancer and reproductive harm as a thank you for California Proposition 65 on arrival. The material appears to be highly carcinogenic. I think that explains why such a low price. It is made in China. I am still considering returning the product but I would not have ordered if I had known about it. The 5/16 head is also quite large - maybe larger than the advertised size. This review is about a flat head screwdriver.

I bought a #2 Phillips and two spline drivers. The build quality is inconsistent. The 1/4" screwdriver was just what I was hoping for until the second screw snapped off the corner of the blade when I tried to loosen the one that was stuck. The #2 Phillips screwdriver was initially loose and after 5 screws it had rounded enough to be unusable. And they weren't even tight, just snug!
