Doesn't work for me!

I really wanted to love her, but no! I'm a triathlete training on a difficult stretch of historic Route 66 in Arizona. The road is rough, but the plus is that there are very few cars. I attached these cages to a Tri Seven dual mount behind my saddle and lost both water bottles on the first ride. (and small bottles) I found them on the way back on the road and emptied them to get home. I noticed the bottles were sliding through the floor. The tongue at the bottom of the cells isn't long enough…

Purchase value: Sport

They are actually very good, functional and 8 pairs weigh 50.2 grams. I didn't give them five stars because there were no stainless steel mounting screws in the packaging, and if If you look closely, the cages there are not symmetrical. I know it's carbon and they're probably handmade, but they just aren't consistent or perfect. I've used them on my mountain bike during training and local races. I've tumbled a few times while racing through mud and downpours and these cages didn't let the…

They are very light - 22 grams in my weight

They are very light - 22 grams in my scale. They are surprisingly narrow and fit very well in standard Specialized bottles. I wouldn't use them on a mountain bike or on your gravel grinder - I don't think they will hold a bottle on rough trails - but for general road riding so far so good. The price is great. Note that they sit low over the bottle tabs on my frame. So low I thought I had derailleur clamp issues. I run a 50t ring and the front derailleur clip just releases these cages. If I've…

Works well but scratches bottles

I bought this bottle cage after reading several reviews, most of them positive and I can tell you my experience after 3 months of use: Benefits : - Lowest prices for a pair of carbon fiber bottle cages you can find - They are really light - Holds bottles very firmly and securely (even a hit won't make them fall) Cons: - The coating has started to peel off and its luster completely gone lost inside and partially outside, - Bottles started scratching from the first day of use. I have Camelbak…

Absolutely great: Sport

Honest = 10 stars ********** I'm an ultra driver. I ride (ride) about 300 miles a week on my road bike. I've driven across the west, that's 930 miles, on rough country roads, bad freeways, down mountains, not a bottle lost. I bought 6 of these cages for my bikes. Cells are carbon best seen in the sun. Hold the bottles very well. Well done. Excellent quality. No rattling. The price is great: $24 vs. $70. Visually appealing. I've never found a water cell that will hold everything - just…

I wish I had bought them years ago!

Cages arrived earlier than promised and were well packaged with screws. Since they arrived early Saturday morning I was able to install and go on a 50 mile ride with some bumpy sections and no loose bottles! Very easy removal and insertion of bottles compared to my old stock cages. Also, there are no more labeled and dirty bottles, which to be honest was the main reason I bought them. I hated seeing $20 bottles with black marks or torn graphics all the time. Oh, the two bottles I used were a 23

you had a job in Hydration

The most important part: DO NOT BUY THESE. I've had them on two trips. I lost my water bottle on both trips. These were moderately bumpy sections of road. I didn't jump over jumps. I didn't jump. Literally one ride over rough ground was enough for my bottles to pop out. If I lose my bottle in the middle of nowhere during a 60-mile practice drive, I've got a long, agonizing drive to find a gas station. If I lose the bottle and there are other cyclists around me, someone could fall. I don't trust

Wow! Excellent all round

After reading customer reviews about the cage not holding the bottles, I was a bit nervous before ordering. After ordering, I found that most didn't describe which bottles they used with the cages. I use 24 ounces. polar bottles, and let me tell you, they fit absolutely perfectly. Tight, but not so tight that I can't remove them. I've blown through plastic, carbon fiber-like cages over the years and decided to buy real carbon fiber. After the first shock of the sticker is over. I found them…

Light as a feather for sports

I'm impressed when a company understates their products instead of bragging about undelivered claims. In the literature, these bottle cages are given as 22 grams each, which is damn little. Upon arrival, I weighed each without the associated bolts (my 2014 Felt Z-85 road bike already has stock aluminum bolts). One weighed 18 grams, the other 16 grams. Only two cells 34 grams! It's 2 grams lighter than the one bottle cage I replace (it's cracked. Looks like Bakelite, like plastic). I now have…
