🍷 Spice up Your Wine Experience with Fairly Odd Novelties Sir Perky Corkscrew! Review

My wife kind of stumbled across this gem at Revain and I immediately bought two of these to give as pranks. Although they make a great joke gift, they are actually very useful and functional for any home, especially wine lovers. Everyone loved it and laughed when they opened the box and even if you are skeptical how can you go wrong at this price point? Order now!

I bought this item as a gift for the white elephant and the actual item does not match the picture. There is very little in the hand to try and open a bottle of wine (even for a woman). And building is cheap. So if you're just buying it as a joke gift, it'll get laughs. But it is not functional and therefore poor value for money. Disappointing purchase.

The corkscrew protrudes from the baby's tummy, not the crotch as shown here. So less of a joke gift and more of a crappy little wine corkscrew. Expect super long wait times for delivery. For some reason, it took him several months to receive this gift and it exceeded the Christmas date by several weeks, which was his original intention. Cheap plastic, cork is ok, just a misleading name. I do not recommend this.

That stupid corkscrew isn't what it seems. My bottle opener was ceramic not plastic, light orange not red. As I inserted the tip of the screw and began driving it into the cork, it exploded in my hand, shattering into sharp shards and scattering across the kitchen floor. Very disappointing as I also bought a bottle stopper thinking they make a cute and fun set. The bottle cap arrived as shown and is made of hard plastic in a true red colour.
