UPDATE: I can definitely see a parrot getting stuck upside down between the curved plastic rod and the holder. Today the holder was empty, but there was still some water at the bottom. I watched one of my birds lean over to get to the water and knew immediately that if it lost its balance it would get stuck upside down like the other reviewer did.
