This was the worst decision I have ever made. $20 and it's not even loud enough to startle a dog. He jumps on it for the game. Beep beep beep. what the hell? Beep beep beep. Here he jumps to make him sing. At night my big dog just grabs it by the edge and gently lays it on the floor as if it should be there. This keeps her leaving a big dog sweat stain in the middle of my new couch. Don't buy this sofa, buy a famous brand or one with the highest rating.

Saved! My new dog kept jumping on the couch after I left. He gets scared easily and this mat works great. It's been about a month now and I've been able to take the lid off and my dog won't even jump on the couch anymore. Update: It's been two months now and I don't need this anymore. My dog got stuck between two sofa cushions for who knows how long. Now he's afraid to climb on the couch and I don't even use it anymore. Hooray?

Well I would give this one 5 runs because it absolutely worked. When my dog first heard the beep, she got scared. As long as I leave it on the couch he thinks it will squeak. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that the block that holds the battery and does the job has come loose from the wiring. The rug I bought worked fine for the first month or so until the alarm stopped working. I figured it was just the battery so I swapped it out and put it back on the bed so our boxer wouldn't lie with it day/night. Unfortunately it didn't work anymore.
