Our master of escape has climbed out of other collars and harnesses, but not this one! I was worried about getting it tight enough because I had to adjust it while he's wearing it, but it wasn't too bad, it's very important to get it on properly when you have an escape master, so I put it on once bit adjusted. Bought this collar for our male boxer who has always suffered from throat allergies. Almost every other collar we've tried has caused redness and sometimes bleeding. This collar seems to be working great and we haven't had any real issues with it yet. As with any collar, it will take a few minutes to find the right size. I love this collar and my dog is very comfortable in it. Hardware is heavy. I especially like the LARGE round ring which makes the leash very easy to put on. It appears to be of high quality material and construction and we got a few comments from people when we went over what a good collar this is.
