PetSafe Efficient Extreme Weather Aluminum Review

I've had this dog door before and it's good for our 40 degree temperatures in Northern Minnesota. It couldn't be nibbled on by my pup, it's not the door's fault but I had to order a new one. A new one came today, but not a new one. The box was clearly marked "Return" and the door was not assembled properly. I'll keep it because it can be repaired through reassembly, but it's hardly like Revain.

Unless you have a standard exterior door, installing this thing is a nightmare. The instructions are less than desirable and the plastic bolts were not a good design idea. However, it protects against the effects of the weather, and my cats are very reluctant to go outside because of the dark central valve.
