Not durable in the sun

Installed on my dome on January 30th. All but a few were out of order. Not resistant to sunlight. They become brittle and break in no time. I've installed others that have lasted 2 years out there so they leave a lot to be desired.

The bungee was great at first. We barely got out of the return window and most of the bungee balls rotted and fell apart. The rubber band in it is of poor quality or one of them used an old rubber band. I wish I could return them.

Very good quality Elastic Bungee

I use these to replace similar elastic cords that attach my temporary (plastic) greenhouse to the frame. I set up a greenhouse for the winter months to protect the potted plants from the elements. The last 2-3 years in the elements. I will buy them again if I need more.

NO COSTS! FAILED AFTER A FEW MONTHS

These things broke within a few months. You are exposed to the sun CA (HOT! 90 degrees +). They don't seem to have UV protection. They lost all their elasticity and failed at the first windy weather. I have previously bought others from different manufacturers that have lasted more than 2 years and are still good.

Not suitable for bungee cords

I bought these to hold the soccer net in the goal. Wrapping them once wasn't tight enough, so I wrapped them twice around the post (maybe an inch or an inch and a half). Not sure if it was too tight but they didn't hold up. I put on 30 of them and about 10-12 of them failed and fell off. The rubber has been removed. Maybe I just stretched them too much, but they didn't last as expected.

I can only hope that this saves people from problems and wasting money.

*CAUTION* DO NOT buy for intended use for tarpaulin attachment or NOTHING at all! I took a chance because they boldly described durability and what a waste. They lasted a month, 1 month. I want to post photos of the ones I found crumbled and lying on the ground after 1 month. And pics of them alongside the last batch I bought elsewhere a year ago, 80% of which are STILL holding a tarp in this fight in Florida. Sun.

not durable on tarp and zip ties

I made the mistake of ordering more before I was sure of the quality and I'm sorry! These bungee cords rotted and fell apart within a few months after being attached to the tarp over my hot tub. Not sure if it was UV exposure or temperature or a combination of both but they just fell apart. not a good product! once again confirms my belief that many Chinese products are inferior. I have a ball bungee that I have had for 20 years and they are still good. They must be made in the USA. These ball…

Ball Bungee Canopy Cord Breaks in Sun and Heat

Last week we had several days of extreme heat and three of our 24 bungee cords broke and this week we had two more - three days of near 100 degree weather ( Pennsylvania, USA) and ALL but the three we replaced the week before all showed up. I bought these cables in mid-March, installed them in early May and they fell off in less than two months. This time I have to buy another brand as I will no longer be using this product.
