They will not work with Sram 10 speed chains.

They do not work with Sram chains. They tend not to loosen the chain easily. On the other hand, they look great and spin great in the Sram Force derailleur. May work better with Shimano chains.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Too wide for 9/10 derailleurs.

The width at the axle is .412" (10.5mm) - too wide for my 2000 Shimano Deore XT front derailleur without replacing the axle bolts. May fit older 7/8 speed derailleurs. existing impeller before purchase.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Works with old/lower derailleurs

Compatible with 8 speed chains only, other size chains will not mesh properly with the cogs. Too thick for my Shimano XTR rear derailleur (2000s), had to file away the material to adjust them. I have ordered another product to replace these as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No instructions

Great jockeys: derailleurs and derailleurs

They are light and well made, the chain clearance on my 11 speed road bike was good. I wanted to replace the original plastic bearings (brass bearings) with a ball bearing. The assembly of the Campagnolo Centaur rear derailleur was a bit tricky at first, the aluminum caps were a bit thicker. I went ahead and put them on and they fit well. Pilot bearings came out dry, I highly recommend adding some lithium grease before installing. All in all, it worked very well and you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Needed some work but

Installed on a 3 year old Shimano Alivio rear derailleur. The width of the wheel with spacers was 0.411 inches versus 0.32 inches on the original. I filed down the outside of the spacers with a coarse metal file. It took several minutes to file and measure each spacer. I found that the hole in the spacers was slightly smaller than the diameter of the screw. The 3/16 drill solved this problem. I rode my bike around the area to check it out. Starts well, no more squeaking. I don't think the…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
