The needles were sharp although one went hard through my ear. (Puncture of the second lobe) the needles are not the right size. I couldn't thread a 20g jewel into an 18g needle (usually one size up for threading) so I'm assuming the needle itself is 20g and not 18g. I also wish it had 6 pins to make kits easier but I also do my nose so an extra one really helps. GET A LARGE SIZE IF YOU WANT A REGULAR EAR OR NOSE PIERCING

Very sharp, pleasant and almost painless! Excellent quality. I used them to re-pierce my nose that has been growing for over 3 years and it was so easy! Highly recommended

Update 15/15/2021: I bought 20g nose rings and was able to track the 20g nose ring behind the needle and it ran smoothly. If you buy these just note that the 18g nose ring will not fit. The 20g ring also didn't fit in the back end of the needle but I was able to push it through with trouble. Bought an 18g needle to pierce the nose with an 18g nose. ring, fishtail nose ring. I was only able to use one of the five. Some needles were out of the box. Four out of five needles have a bent point, if not the entire needle.

Very sharp and sterile, used it to pierce the 4th hole in my earlobe and it didn't hurt as much as the other 3 when I did it with a gun. The only thing is that they don't match regular earrings after all, so you have to pull the pin out first to get the earring in your ear instead of putting the earring on the end of the pin and pulling it through.

I pierced my nostril with one of these needles and they are SO SHARP I almost didn't feel a thing!. All I felt was just a little pinch as it went through and that was it! Those are big, very sharp little scalpels! (needles) and they work great!

They are very sharp, intact, well packaged and work great. I used them to pierce my four year old daughter's earlobes and she didn't cry a bit. I also pierced the ears of two other family members and both said it didn't hurt. I made sure the earrings I received were the same size as the pins and I was able to push the pin all the way through, insert the tip of the earring into the hole in the pin and just follow the pin.
