The butter is also high quality and a good source of fat for the winter months. The only downside is the price per unit. I always make tallow for birds. Last fall I bought two cases of the local pet food store's branded sweatshirt, but the birds barely touched it. I ordered this Pine Tree brand and the birds and squirrels started chewing again. I conclude that this is better than tallow.
