Works. Holding my Mavic on a bike in New York. I call it victory. Yes. A determined thief can still steal your wheels off your bike if they have the right tools like a sawtooth or something, but they can cut through your entire bike and still leave your D-lock hanging at that point. lol. Just get them and enjoy your bike.

They are very easy to install and work as expected. Other manual attacks on YouTube seem too labor intensive for the average thief to use when the bike is properly locked. Combine them with a saddle lock, a good U-lock and good locking technique and I believe you should be fine under normal conditions.

There are so many different types of skewers with a lock. I called the company and got the guy on the phone. They answer questions quickly, support their product and it's from Canada! What do not like. They fit well and stay in place. The keychain tool is a bit flexible, but it works. Note that it has a seatpost lock to replace the quick release setup, but no seatlock, so you can only go back to the seatpost if the thief really likes your gel pad.

It will take much longer to defeat the thief to get my suspension post and creek saddle.
