Have been riding Ralph's, Ron's and Nic's Schwalbe for years until I got tired of burping them on fun descents. I wanted to replace my 2.4" XR3 Bontrager (XC tires) with something that offered more grip for trail riding but wasn't too heavy. I chose this tire and it delivers what it promises. This is a good tire for fast driving. It's light and fast. It's definitely slower than the XR3 it replaced, but I feel more confident looking down and seeing the more pronounced Pirelli Scorpion knobs.
