Excellent Traction and Durability

When I tried this tubeless tire on my mountain bike, I was blown away by the outstanding traction and durability it offered. I could easily maneuver through tricky terrains without losing control, thanks to its sturdy design. The tubeless feature also ensured that my ride was smoother and less prone to punctures. As it is suitable for all seasons, I can use it for my Sports and Outdoors activities throughout the year. The only downside is that it may require professional assistance to install…

Pros
  • Excellent traction and grip, suitable for various terrains
Cons
  • Not suitable for riders who prefer narrower tires

Great all round tire

Have been riding Ralph's, Ron's and Nic's Schwalbe for years until I got tired of burping them on fun descents. I've ridden Maxxis Rekons and Forekasters for many years and they're good - very strong and reliable - but they don't handle very well and the rubber doesn't slide over wet roots and rocks. I did a long wet ride on them in XXC format and I really liked them - no burp and they handle wet roots well. If they last (and reviews from online magazines say they will), this will be my new…

Pros
  • The Scorpion MTB Mixed Terrain range offers the right balance of aggressive and smooth riding to tackle any terrain of varying consistency.
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Fast Trail Tires - Tires and Tubes

I wanted to replace my 2.4" XR3 Bontrager (XC tires) with something that offered more grip for trail riding but wasn't too heavy. I chose this tire and it delivers what it promises. This is a good tire for fast driving. It's light and fast. It's definitely slower than the XR3 it replaced, but I feel more confident looking down and seeing the more pronounced Pirelli Scorpion knobs. In my opinion it's a good tire for fast riding and could be good for marathon racing as long as you don't mind that

Pros
  • A tire that combines performance, lug spacing and a design that is ideal for mixed conditions such as undergrowth and dirt roads, both dry and wet.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
