This is a decent set of brushes, sufficient for occasional use. With a plastic handle and the fact that you get two I don't think they will last long in everyday use. Lime green makes them easy to find.

I often need a toothbrush or brush with softer brass bristles to clean delicate parts. This is not the right type of brush. They're tough and aggressive, just like stripping paint from rough cast iron. Sometimes I do that too.

These wire brushes are a definite improvement over the typical wooden handle types. The plastic handles are comfortable to hold, easy to pick up and, of course, do not splinter. The bristles are securely attached to the handles. The set contains two brushes of the same size.

That's great! They have many practical uses, but I use them specifically to remove paint and stains from brushes I use for painting and home renovation projects. They easily separate dried/cured acrylic paint from the bristles of the brush and from the base of the brush handle, increasing the life of the brush. Until they rusted and the wire bristles broke. No complaints here!

They have a good build quality, they will cope with their task. In truth, one is used on a BBQ grill and the other is a spare that will eventually be used for something that requires steel bristles. I have other wire brushes with thicker steel bristles so I don't think it's heavy duty. These aren't that brutal. If you're not careful, they'll peel the joint in no time, but you'll end up with thinner gouges than brushes with thicker wires.

I ordered these brushes for routine cleaning and painting of metal work. These are lightweight yet durable brushes with stiff carbon steel bristles (allow drying after use) firmly attached to an ergonomic plastic handle. The handles fit larger hands, have rounded edges, are molded with finger tabs for a more secure grip, and are offset just enough to keep your knuckles from barking as you work. The handles are so comfortable you might forget to put on gloves while you work.

I have recently purchased smaller wire brushes but if you have large surfaces that require a strong full size steel brush this is just what the doctor ordered; it is like it is. The metal is strong rather than soft brass, which is fine for small brushes, but they're in the brute force category. I like that the handles are made of plastic. I have used wooden handles for my large brushes and they are prone to tarnishing and discoloration and are also more prone to rust because they retain…

I'm not sure how hard work can be defined with a brush like this but they definitely have stiff bristles and are good for cleaning welds and Removing rust and oxidation from metal. I also used one of these to remove heavy grease from an old engine block before moving on to the finer wire brush.
