The product is simple and easy to install. However, the magnet will last longer than the tape on the other side! Mine fell off my phone after 2 weeks.

I don't know what attributes are on the metal plates. They fit well on my phone case and work with the magnetic field on the phone holder.

I've only used one of the rectangular ones so far but it seems to stick well enough. I was confused at first when I first put it on and it didn't work, but I found it pretty easy to adjust. While it was handy to get it right, it makes me wary of how long this glue will last. Although so far so good. I attached it to the inside of my Pixel 2 XL phone case and it sticks perfectly to my vent magnet. They're a little smaller than I expected, but it's my fault for not checking the measurements…

My Simply Carbon phone mount came with no instructions so I attached the metal strips to the wrong surface. SCF couldn't replace them, so they ordered these records instead. NO GLUE REQUIRED - You can attach 2 3M label plates to the back of the phone (label side down) and then stick them on the case to hold the metal plates in place. The SCF mount is highly magnetized, giving you a good grip as the magnet pulls the metal plates through the case. Very happy with the quality of this product.

Great for magnetic mount, goes well with my iphone and my box case. You need to place the magnets on the outside of the case so they make direct contact with the magnet on the mount, but I had to do the same with the magnets that came with the mount. Overall very satisfied

Great project and does the job. I previously bought a magnetic mount for my car but got a wireless charger so I had to pry off the magnetic plate that came with it. Bought this product to replace and install on a phone case instead. I have found that rectangular strips are more useful as they cover more area and prevent shifting than round ones. It's nice to have a few of these if you have a penchant for changing phone cases.

They worked great when I got a new phone and wanted to keep my old magnetic dash mount. I have no idea why you need four of these, but hey? This time I left the adhesive backing in place and just stuck it between the phone and the case and it still works like a charm. NOTE FOR WIRELESS CHARGING PHONE USERS: This mounting system may (in my experience) cause wireless charging to not work. Metal interferes with the charging pad. Just something to note.
