Works great with my new Panasonic PT-AE8000U projector

Shipping was fast. I ordered a couple of these along with the 3D Blu-ray movie Gravity. With a Prime subscription, it was delivered in two days. The glasses came in bulk packaging (bubble wrap, no retail box, no storage bag and only a very short micro USB to USB charging cable. (I used one of the charging cables for my phone)). There were no instructions, but another buyer posted a simple loading/setup process. Most people should be able to figure this out without a guide. I wear wire-rimmed…

Amazing glasses for Sony VPL-HW40ES and HW55ES 3D projectors!

I bought these for my new projector at the urging of my local Sony dealer. I recently bought a new Sony VPL-HW40ES projector. I was upset to find out that the "recommended" projector glasses are the PJ1 glasses, which range from $99 to $119 a pair. I have decided not to wear 3D glasses for the time being. A few weeks later I met a Sony representative at a local mom and pop electronics store and expressed my concerns about the price of the glasses. He suggested I try the PS3 goggles, saying they

Panasonic offer

I bought this for the Panasonic Viera which uses active IR shutter technology. They will not work with 2012 and newer Panasonic models that use Bluetooth instead of IR. I can't say exactly why Panasonic changed, but I do remember an issue with Panasonic glasses related to IR. If you turn your head too far to the side, they lose contact and turn off until you look back. Of course, you're not looking directly at the screen while doing this, but it's annoying that you might have this problem if…
