Runs small, one size larger

I'm 1.70 m tall, weigh 64 kg and I'm very thin. The small adult sizing accommodates everything size related including POC's proprietary VPD Air knee pads. I have very skinny arms but her small elbow was too tight and restricted circulation. I ended up going back and ordering the medium sleeve version of the VPD Air instead.

Pros
  • COMFORT: Reinforced stretch fabric
Cons
  • Frequency

Don't stay in one place

Harness is on the side of the forearm but not over the elbow. So it's really just friction holding them in place and that doesn't really work and you often end up hanging on to them. That being said, they're comfortable, fairly breathable, and have saved me a few scratches without falling apart.

Pros
  • ROBUST: Restraint Harness (CRS) for a comfortable fit
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Size XL fits Burly Boy

After a few splashes of water in moderately severe accidents, I made an immediate switch to protective gear. I've tried several other brands trying to "save money" and ended up buying uncomfortable pads that I HATE wearing. Fast forward to buying POC VPD ethers and I can't speak highly enough. My arms are so muscular that some shirts don't fit me. XL pads are so comfortable I don't even realize I'm wearing them. After 3 relatively bad falls and pads my elbows are intact. Two thumbs up I wouldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • PROTECT: Lightweight and shock absorbing VPD compound
Cons
  • No instructions
