Pollys Perch is a Keeper!

Based on my observations, this perch is high-quality and perfect for small birds. The beach sand material provides a great texture for birds to grip and maintain their nails. However, the perch is slightly pricey when compared to other bird perches in the market. Overall, it's a great addition to any bird cage.

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable perch for small birds to rest on.
Cons
  • Sands may cause irritation or abrasions on birds' feet over time.

Texture too rough on perches

The texture is like a very rough sandpaper texture. Not like fine sandpaper. I would feel uncomfortable if my cockatiel stood on it. It seems too rough for small feet.

Great for beak trimming

I have cockatiels so I have this little perch. But I don't use it as a perch. I use it for beak trimming. Just put some millet or other favorite treats on top to get it in the cavities and your bird will be cleaning its beak with great enthusiasm. Works very well for me and my birds.
