Nice little gadget. Ease of installation. It literally took me 5 minutes. Only the passenger-side handle is locked, but that's more than enough to keep people honest. Combine this with the Tonou hard case and you have secure, lockable storage.

I have a 1998 Ram 1500. This item fits my truck, it's easy to fit and now I can lock the tailgate. Revain is about $20 cheaper than what I've seen in retail stores. Delivery was fast. Yes, I recommend this product

Not a bad concept. The hardware is pretty cheap. The screw broke before it was tightened. I had to replace a hardened screw on a shelf. Two screws are supplied, I can only assume this is in case one breaks. I had to do some tinkering with my 00' Ram, but I was able to get it to work. The locking mechanism had to be lubricated to release it, but overall it works as it should.

. I installed it on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. It only took a few minutes and it works fine. So you can put everything in place etc. but they never tell you to tighten everything up at the end :-) Not difficult to understand but maybe some mechanics need this reminder.

I had no idea how to install it but I followed the instructions and installed it in minutes. Make sure you have the correct torx bit to remove one screw and loosen the other two. Basically all you have to do is remove the plastic bezel and one screw. Install the lock and replace the removed bolt with a longer one. Put the front panel back on and tighten all the screws, done.

Instructions are very easy to use and written in correct English. The hardest part of the installation was getting the existing screw out of the trunk. It was sprayed when the bed lining was sprayed. I used a pickaxe to remove the bed pad around and inside the hex screw. It works very well and I am very happy with the ability to lock the back door now. I used to have a trunk lid that would close but the tailgate would not close, all is well now. The product seems very durable, all metal.

I read the reviews on this product before I bought it. I'm sure each brand and model is made slightly differently. I read that it is cheap plastic junk. I'm here to tell you. Received in a reasonable time. The instructions were pretty easy. I used a cut zip tie to pull out the lower fairing insert and it came out easily. I loosened the three screws on the tailgate latch and removed the bottom one per the instructions. Insert the pop and lock and use the included screw to secure it.
