🔒 Pop and Lock PL5050C Tailgate Lock Upgrade for Toyota Hilux Review

Fits car well and looks like a factory handle and latches the tailgate as described, the only thing that fails a little is the bushings that hold the latch rods. The seat wasn't as good as the original Toyota, but they are easy to replace with Toyota and work great. The supplied instructions were good and easy to understand, and the replacement is done in half an hour. was delivered before the date stated even though I had come to the UK from the US so I was very happy with it

After a bit of fiddling, everything worked great. The manufacturer mistakenly assembled right out of the box. Although 5 minutes and a thin tap is enough to disassemble and properly install the spring. I used this thing on a '86 Toyota pickup with a few modifications and it worked great.

Bought to latch our 1991 Toyota pickup as our hard trunk lid can only be opened when the tailgate is open.
