Very strong scissors. They seem very durable, easy to hold and very sharp. They do exactly what bird shears are supposed to do. They cut through bones like butter. Nothing special and they don't do 25 other things that I never understood. Who opens beer with his bird scissors? I can only recommend these bird scissors.

We often process poultry on our hobby farm and they have replaced numerous plastic handled kitchen shears that we broke in the middle of a cut! They are durable and have no risk of breaking in your hand and sending you to the emergency room! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to handle large cuts of meat or deal with boning. Ideal for regular use in the kitchen, for example with herbs, bacon!

Don't believe the seller and the product are both from China I have not used these scissors yet they seem strong but believe Don't tell the seller if he says stainless steel. Stainless steel is not magnetic and as of this writing they are attached to my kitchen magnet. They are zinc alloy plated but I think they have nickel underneath. I mean, they rust very easily and then become unusable. I have 30 days to see if this happens. At the first sign of rust I send them back.

I've had several kitchen shears with plastic handles that break when trying to cut chicken. Due to warnings from other reviews I don't put them in the dishwasher and dry them thoroughly to avoid rusting. The included instructions even state that they are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. Got them on a lightning deal and overall I'm very happy with them. They are incredibly sharp and have proven themselves for light to medium cuts, which I still use them for in my kitchen. Following the advice of other reviewers, I avoided the dishwasher and hand washed them to avoid rusting issues. They have to be dismantled for hygienic cleaning.
