It's worth buying a good one for Woodcrafts

I use a lot of carving knives. Bought this set by accident. There are always problems with the eyes and nose. Built this set and played with some of my Christmas worries. As if by magic, they created an additional attraction for both the eyes and the nose, the undercut and the eyelids looked. Much better. I don't use them for hardening, but for small, fine cuts at the end. I hate to say they sat on the shelf for a while so can't comment on how spicy they were out of the box. But hit them on the

Suitable for intermediate level people like me.

Wanted to upgrade the Speedball cutters but didn't want to spend too much just yet. Decided to do a small upgrade and see if I like this style as opposed to Palm instruments. I'm glad I have them and I think they will have many uses for me. Overall they feel good and seem to cut well, even on the old, almost brittle battleship I used. I love that they can be sharpened which I think takes them a step above the speedball cutters I have. I would recommend them as a neat intermediate set. With the…

Well thought out set!

Users of cutting tools often pay attention to some very important characteristics when purchasing. Sharp enough to get the job done? #4 Does it hold an edge well? This is a quality tool set that meets or exceeds those criteria and will provide you with a great service with proper care and I believe this set is an even better deal. because of its price. I recommend you buy the necessary tools to keep them in tip-top condition, both for safety reasons and because dull blades cause more fatigue…

For a beginner, they seem like good beginner tools.

I am new to wood carving and at first thought it was a good balance between cost and performance/variety of carving tools. I've seen many carvers prefer ball-ended hand carving tools to a palm pressure carving technique where the shape of these handles seemed more suited to a pencil grip, so I used them. not very sharp out of the box and I'm still learning how to sharpen them, but the ones I have are pretty sharp and I REALLY enjoy using them. I think others just need practice. I was surprised…

These tools are very good on arrival

These tools are very good on arrival. They're sharp enough to handle any task with ease and the grip is amazing, and the blades are rubber coated so you can protect your sharp blade from accidental damage. I used these tools to carve a copy of my Chaos Eater Sword and it was a 4 foot pine sword with some amazing engravings but some of the chisels broke the tiny tips of their sharp bevel and when that happens , you can no longer conveniently clean the wood chips like before. The rounded bevels…
