Power Stop Z26-1474A Z26 Extreme Performance Front Brake Pad Set with Carbon-Ceramic Technology Review

I installed these pads on my 2014 Corvette Z51 2 weeks ago and they are fantastic. No noticeable difference in braking performance when driving normally, but much less brake dust on my chrome rims. If I had installed them a few years ago it would have saved me a few car washes.

Bought for a 2016 Camaro SS with Brembo 4 piston front calipers. Be sure to upgrade my rotors ($10 per rotor at O'Reilly Auto Parts) and follow the break-in instructions. It has the same properties on the road and the bite is similar to regular pads (which are quite strong). Produces much less brake dust. Can be a little louder than OEM on cold mornings, but that goes away quickly. Recommended!

C7 '16 with Z51. OEM pads get by with black wheels for as little as 100 miles. Started installing chrome. Pickled Pads Power Stop. Easy installation. (Cleaned and polished discs for on the go). Planted pads according to directions. With normal and vigorous driving you don't notice much, and if you do then you notice a drop in performance and feeling. The first 200 miles there is practically no trace of dust. You'll have to go to the mountains to see how they perform with more intensive use. but

Might squeak cold at first stop sometimes, but nothing bothers. And so incredibly little dust! Dust also comes off easily and doesn't get stuck or anything. Braking performance is good and can lock up tires slightly on my c7, but if you push hard and get hot (track riding) you overheat the material and you get uneven pad deposits on the rotor, causing vibration. However, this is not a disadvantage of the pad as it is a road pad and of course no road pad can withstand the heat of track riding.

The best part is no brake dust. These pads keep my wheels much cleaner. They are definitely made for high performance vehicles and they stop my Camaro SS very quickly and smoothly even at high speeds. They fit perfectly with the Brembo braking system. They are very quiet when driving and do not squeak or creak. However, after the car has been in the garage for a few days, they make an awful LOUD screech until I reach the end of the driveway.
