Powerful Transformer for Powerful Appliances

Powerful Transformer Powers Large Foreign 100V Appliances in USA. The unit weight of 35 pounds confirms that a large, high power transformer is used to meet the power requirements. Must withstand up to 15 amps.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Expensive

Looks good - power converter

I don't think ordinary transformers have excellent reliability and stability. I usually turned it off and unplugged it. I had no problems in two months, working six times an hour. I think this product suits me.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • expensive

The polish smells so bad I only pocketed it once and got it.

The paint smells so bad that I only plugged it in once and put it in the box because of the smell. It should be used in the kitchen, but it cannot be used until the smell of paint thinner is gone. It's been 4 weeks now and the smell is still there.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works fine as it should!

The transformer works well with my 1230w Zojirushi rice cooker! It's barely noisy, doesn't get very hot, and allows my Zoji to function normally with no annoying voltage warning errors. Heavy, but it must be a transformer rated at 1500W. This model is highly recommended for heaters in 100/120V rated countries such as USA or Japan.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons

The other block works fine. I don't move it

I bought two of these transformers in 2014 The one I use a lot, the 100 volt plug input is so loose I have to secure it with cardboard or rubber bands to make it work. Sent it back twice! same problem. If they added some quality parts inside it might be worth buying. I would not buy this again! The other block works fine. I don't move it, unplug it, or plug in new power cords.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

PowerBright VC-2000J

The product arrived in a double box, very appreciated for its weight. This transformer arrived in pristine condition and worked perfectly. We usually use it to convert 120V to 100V for all our Japanese devices. Our VC-2000J was tested under load and the voltage deviation was less than 1% - it was definitely one of the best transformers we've bought and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to power small portable devices.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Update availability

Pleases. while it works fine.

RULE #1: BUY A TRANSFORMER THAT HAS TRIPLE THE POWER RATE SPECIFIED ON MOST OF THIS DEVICE YOU INTEND TO USE. I mostly bought this for a 500w kotatsu my sister gave me when she was living in Japan. I decided to buy a transformer way above my Kotatsu heater to make sure it could handle the load without a lot of sweat. Since I usually keep my kotatsu at about 1/3 of max I think I overdid it a bit, but I'd rather have this thing barely work than about to explode. The downsides are that it's quite…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product

Suspicious quality: The Best of Power Accessories

I bought this device about 2 years ago when I returned from Japan. I brought a washer-dryer combo from Japan that requires 100V/50Hz. The unit worked fine except the fuse blew twice which I found odd. The dryer section of my washer/dryer combo draws 1470 watts, which matches well with the advertised wattage of this transformer. Last weekend another fuse blew in the unit and when it was replaced it didn't work even though the gauge showed power. After opening the device, I found the following…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Only available in white

Still works great after 2 years

I bought it to use the DJ equipment I bought in West Japan (100V 60Hz) in the US (120V 60Hz): CDJ , mixer and EFX processor. It's probably less than 500 watts total, but it's expensive gear so I wanted to play it safe and get a high-performance model. I turn it off when I don't use it, but after 2 years everything works fine. I like that it's all metal and very durable. I'm planning to go back to Japan in a few months and will definitely take it with me. I can reverse it and hope it saves me…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
