Seems to work fine - Fasteners

I bought a couple of these to install cabinets in the garage. They pierced through the cabinet and wooden studs so easily that I wondered if I really hit the stud, but I did. Seems to hold up well, although I believe in overkill and keep six in the cupboard above the fridge where most people only keep four. I've seen cabinets fall off the walls in a new house because the builder didn't install enough screws. Highly recommended for ease of installation and seems like a good product.

Terrible Driving Fasteners

I've just spent a day installing cabinets with these screws and have experienced serious bit slippage almost every time. I have been an avid carpenter for 20 years and have driven thousands of screws with different heads and sockets and my experience with these square heads has almost always been very positive. Not this time. With the square bit that came with the screw box, I just couldn't get the screw more than 2/3 of its length without significantly rotating the bit in the screw head…

My favorite cabinet mounting screws

I really like these cabinet mounting screws, especially in combination with the drill/reamer tool that is sold for them. They offer great holding power and minimize the risk of the head being pulled through the back of the case. When installing overhead cabinets, we may only have one rack left (for a 30" or smaller cabinet). This means that there are only 2 screws on this device.
