My 1955 Ferguson tractor was converted to 12 volts. The original tachometer was driven by a cable from the back of the alternator. I found an alternator with a tach drive output, but the pulley was 3.2 inches, which made the tach run 25% faster. I found this pulley, just the right size for me, and it fits perfectly without modification. The tachometer is currently working. Great product and good service.
