Powermaster 182 V Belt Pulley Review

Fixed our race car loading problem. The 5 inch pulley was too big - this 4 inch pulley increased the revs of the alternator and now the alternative. charges the battery.

I bought it to reduce belt vibration and squeaks. It helped a lot. No more screeching. Installs easily. I run it on a 350 Small Block Square Body C20 '84 Truck Charges up to 13+ volts with the motor at 800 RPM or higher. My charge drops off at idle at 650 rpm, but I had no problems with it.

My 1955 Ferguson tractor was converted to 12 volts. The original tachometer was driven by a cable from the back of the alternator. I found an alternator with a tach drive output, but the pulley was 3.2 inches, which made the tach run 25% faster. I found this pulley, just the right size for me, and it fits perfectly without modification. The tachometer is currently working. Great product and good service.
