The Weighted Training Balls make sure that you are building the proper follow through on your batting and throwing technique. Use for both batting and throwing technique development for the hardest hits and throws. INSTANT FEEDBACK - Easily see how proper hits and mishits change the distance and trajectory of the ball. Correct form mid-drill. HIGHLY DURABLE - Durable thick, pliable plastic cover is designed for years of hard hits and throws. BUILD POWER - Develop muscle groups specific to batter and pitcher movements. Strengthen your swings and throws. Build power while warming up, dual-purpose workout. USED & ENDORSED BY PRO PLAYERS - German Marquez and Andrelton Simmons.

Enough but fly too far

Balloons fly much farther than intended (30-40 feet). I assume it's because of the 2.8 inch size, but players have to stand far away to avoid getting hit. They will likely work well with my senior teams (10-13 year olds). a larger sphere to keep it in a smaller area.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Unsafe

Love them - good alternative to TCB

Great balls! They last until you lose them. I've used them on 12u-14u baseball teams for years and still use them on my HS player. Good quality, bear a lot of abuse. Great swing review! I've bought them before and will continue to do so - I usually lose a few every year. Will never pay for TCB again - too expensive!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything

and results so far great

We have been using them for drilling for a few weeks and the results so far are great. Included in the package was a hitting program that we run when the ball starts to fall. You can use them anywhere because even if the batter actually hits the target, it doesn't go that far. Batting with them in practice and before games helped the kids really control the ball and finish their swings.

Sturdy but crumpled

It's great to have different weights. The team likes to hit the lighter balls a little further, but they have to work hard on the heavier balls. The problem is that several bullets have dents. I think it's because they sit on top of each other in a bag. I don't think it affects durability, but it does affect kids' enjoyment of hitting the ball. They believe the dented bullets are defective, and this diverts their attention from the task at hand.

Pros
  • That's a miracle
Cons
  • I don't remember but it was something

They do their job; good for training and strength development

Great product for sports activities. I use them on my 10u touring team and they helped the team hit the ball and complete the backswing. The balls also provide instant feedback for batsmen and coaches. I've found that some balls are a bit harder than others, which isn't a problem but more of an observation. We also have one of the yellow balls (12 ounces) that warped a bit after about 50 hits, but the others are holding up great after a couple of fairly heavy use workouts.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgradable

Great bang for the buck!

I am the proud head coach of the 8U men's baseball team. I bought these balls to teach the kids how to do all the swings. I use them along with another 16oz PowerNet set at the station during a "hit" day and the boys love it. They all move with the racquet and develop tighter swings that lead to more powerful shots. These balls have held up well for 2 seasons (hit by 10+ kids weekly during the fall and spring baseball seasons). Not to mention that you get more "return on investment" with them…

As a travel baseball coach for 9U, this .

As a 9U Baseball Travel Coach this is one of my favorite training items. These weighted balls won't overstretch even the toughest racquets. A hard, hard punch carries the ball an average of 6-8 feet in the air and another 25 feet. This makes hiring hits quick and convenient. Aside from the convenience, the VALUE of these learning tools is in teaching them how to use them. A hard backswing that isn't "heeded" will almost always result in the ball landing a few yards off the plate. This teaches…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

These weighted balls are amazing! As a batting teacher, they work well.

These weighted balls are amazing! As batting instructors, they work well at teaching the batsman proper stretch through contact. I like using it in drills to get the right lengthening and it also teaches purposeful thinking for the swing. That means swinging towards the goal and swinging to dribble. When these balls are used, the weight of the ball requires the batsman to have more intention to practice a firm approach, so when hitting a regular ball, swing speed and ball exit speed increase…

  • Hands Free

  • Very Expensive
