This rj45 splitter adapter is mainly used to solve the connection problem caused by insufficient wiring, and it can make two devices surf the Internet at the same time by means of the physical tapping method. Note: (Two Female Port Workable Simultaneously). The rj45 ethernet splitter 1 to 2 adapter divide original embedded Ethernet cables (8pins) into two groups (1234/5678). Two groups respectively transmit data with purely physical connection which don't have the function of the assign IP addresses. RJ45 Network Adapter Connection method: if two computer need internet stimultanously, so when the router away from the computer, only need one 8 core cable in the middle of two rj45 splitter, but you need two computer at the same time, please using this method, as picture 4 instruction. Don't waste your money

None of these items will work! Very disappointed with the quality of these items. Plugged in a CAT 5 cable and neither of the two (2) outputs gave a signal. That does not work.

The splitter didn't work! Only one side worked. Only works as a 1-1 extension

Only port 2 worked on BOTH devices! The same cable worked on port2 but not on port1. Changed cable, same result. Since there were 2 parts in the kit, we thought maybe one was defective. No, they are BOTH. Don't waste your money on a poor quality product that doesn't work as advertised! I am sending it back and requesting a refund.

Works as described

Buy this to add a second wire lead on top. Wi-Fi isn't always stable enough for scaling and other video conferencing and gaming. The wife uses the computer to take online language courses and the son wanted his games to run smoothly. Since manually switching the cable line was quickly becoming obsolete, I saw this at Revain and gave it a try.
