Perfect fit for my Acura TL and no modification required. The item was delivered quickly and very well packaged. Also included were instructions and a starter test report. In my case, I had to remove the battery and mount. After that you will have all the spaces you need. Very easy installation. I'll report later but I'm sure this starter was a good buy.

My wife's starter failed. No clicks or anything else when trying to start. The battery was about a year old so I had no idea about it. The voltage test has shown that the battery is still OK. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Quick install and rather than disconnecting the clip used for the wires that run alongside the starter I simply unscrewed the screw holding the clip to the starter and swapped them out. Much less than local refurbished shops. A few weeks and no problems.

Starter perfectly fits a 2004 Honda Pilot. All plugs and brackets perfectly match the original. It took about 40 minutes to remove and reinstall the battery tray which had to be removed to access the starter motor. It took less than 20 minutes to replace the starter itself. I have been busy after receiving the part and have not installed it for a little over 1 month. She fit perfectly. (Had to replace a small wiring harness bracket but that was easy).
