I bought this to refurbish my '99 Buick Regal. The set was packed in a large box and arrived safely. Working in the door is always tedious, but it made the repair as easy as possible. The only difference between this unit and the one I replaced was the location of the motor connector. My old ESC had wires connected directly to the motor while this new ESC has a short pigtail. So far, so good. The window opens and closes silently. I hope this lasts long.

Fits great, looks like the original except the socket was attached to a pigtail rather than directly to the engine which keeps the wiring harness connector away from moving parts. Another oddity was that every time I adjusted it, it creaked at the top of the rail. I thought it might be the door, but when I did another aftermarket replacement on the passenger and front power windows, they all creaked in the same place. Strange. Only time will tell if it holds up.

We ordered this item to replace 3 broken windows on a used car we bought for my daughter. The windows were delivered and we had to wait for the installation time. As it turned out, the motors were much smaller than the stock motors and the wiring harness didn't seem to fit properly. The description said it fits our car model. If you have a GM vehicle and your power windows have stopped working and the window goes down and won't go up, you need to buy one of these products. Several different manufacturers. I've contacted GM but they don't seem to care about the plastic part that breaks and renders them unusable. All brands and all models. This is the third controller that I have installed in this car. There was a grounding problem and the cable broke on the first two about a year later. I fixed the grounding issue by replacing the shorted switch and running a new ground wire.
