Perfect for my hungry pup

Our 14 week old pup is a fast eater. This bowl really slows him down. Good for his digestion and helps keep him entertained. LOVE IT!

Pros
  • Easy for dogs to use and adapt to
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to use for elderly or arthritic dogs

Made my aggressive eater and grazer!

Purchased for our mini goldendoodle puppy. she would woof down her food in no time at all and then her tummy would be rumbling in protest later. This feeder has made her slow down, but not just that, she doesn't scarf down her food anymore! She will come and go taking bites when she wants then running off to play with her toys!

Pros
  • Easy to clean and dishwasher safe
Cons
  • May not be as hygienic as traditional bowls

Great maze bowl on my review.

I got this maze bowl for my 12 pound dog because she kept eating so fast that she would get sick. This has really helped her slow down and hasn’t gotten sick since we started using it! We also have one for our 50 pound dog and it works equally as great!

Pros
  • Promotes independence and self-reliance in dogs
Cons
  • Poor durability

Does the job best in my review

I'm very impressed. My Boston Terrier used to eat food so quickly that she would vomit. A half a cup of food took her roughly 45 seconds. After using the bowl, the same amount of food now takes about 8 minutes. It absolutely does what it's supposed to!

Pros
  • Encourages dogs to use their natural instincts and eat at a slower pace
Cons
  • May not be as effective for dogs who have trouble breathing or swallowing

Works as intended in my review

Works excellent for keeping my dog from eating too fast. Also mentally stimulating for him, trying to figure out how to get all of his kibble. Rubber pieces you add on the bottom to keep it stationary are worthless. I had to buy other ones. Not the easiest to clean with all the little nooks and crannies. Overall I would highly recommend as a slow feeder dish.

Pros
  • My dogs
Cons
  • May not be as durable as advertised

It’s fine. in my review

It slows my dog down a bit and is easy to clean but it doesn’t slow her down nearly as much as others have. Maybe good for less serious eaters.

Pros
  • Safe for use with all types of dog food and supplements
Cons
  • May not be as effective for dogs who are very young or very old

These bowls help my dogs consume food slower

I love these bowls because they help my two dogs consume food a lot slower. I love that I can serve them a variety of delicious cuisines spreading them everywhere on these bowls. It is only wet food that I serve them adding their daily supplements in there as well. However, the suction on the bottom doesn’t work so my dogs do dance with their bowls. I may have to serve their bowls on a mat. These are easy to clean. The bowls are still in great condition. I do wish that the protruding plastic…

Pros
  • Reasonable food intake
Cons
  • May not be as effective for dogs who eat too quickly

Gulping dog is not anymore!

Does the trick for my food gulping dogs.two little Maktese act like every meal is their last!So they are foiled, ha, ha. But the little feet under it dont work consequently the dishes travel the length of my kitchen every day, lol.

Pros
  • Helps improve digestion and reduce gas in dogs
Cons
  • Not recommended for dogs with behavioral issues or aggression towards other dogs during meal times

its very light weight, but works well otherwise.

This is a great size dish for my 6 pound miniature pinscher 6 month old puppy. It slows him down some, I would think most other breeds might slow down even more. He just does everything at about 110 miles per hour, so if he's now eating at 60 miles per hour it's a great help. The only thing I would change is if it were heavier, weighted somehow. he moves it all over the floor as he's eating from it, even with the tiny little rubber stickies that came with it to stick on each side of the bottom.

Pros
  • Helps promote a healthier relationship between dogs and their food
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to use for dogs who require special feeding arrangements

Too Challenging for Puppy

My 8 week old Goldendoodle (8 lbs) was gobbling up his food so fast he was getting hiccups. I got this slow feeder to help him eat slower. It worked a little too well because he could only manage to get about half of his meal out that was piled up higher. It slid around a lot but didn't flip over. Eventually, I fed him the other half of his meal in his regular bowl. I fed him this way twice now with the same results. I think I will try with a smaller, simpler slow feeder for now and upgrade him

Pros
  • great slow feeding bowl. I love that it is dishwasher top rack safe.
Cons
  • Initial adjustment period may be required

Well made and works like a charm

Our new lab puppy is a typical Hoover and can inhale his entire bowl of food in seconds. This has slowed him down a lot. It takes him a few minutes to get every kibble. Excellent purchase.

Pros
  • Helps reduce anxiety and stress in pets
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to use with larger pieces of kibble

Best version of slow feeders I've tried

I've tried several different versions of slow feeders and by far, this one is the best. There is enough room, just enough, for my dogs to move the food around, slow them down, and eventually get the morsels. I have dachshunds, mini and regular. You'd think any bowl would work with their long noses but that's not true. I've tried 3 other bowls that they could not get to the food. This bowl works for them. I've bought 3 now in different colors. I really only need it for one of my babies, but the…

Pros
  • The non-slip pads fell off after 3 days, but the bowl works exactly how it's supposed to!
Cons
  • Can be more expensive than regular bowls

Moves everywhere but still gets 5 stars

My cat used to throw up 3-6 times a week. Not like hairball throw up- but rather all her food. I was nearly convinced my sweet kitty

Pros
  • Free Return and Exchange
Cons
  • Not ideal for senior dogs with mobility issues

Rubber stoppers fall out

Works pretty well at slowing my dogs eating down, but the rubber stoppers on the bottom constantly fall out. Im missing one and really hope my dog didn't eat it.

Pros
  • Easy use, works as needed
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs who are picky eaters

REALLY slowed down my 4 legged hoover!

My Dachshund, Simon, used to eat so fast I never even heard him crunch his kibble! This worked like a charm. He eats and chews now, he isn't uber bloated and my eye stopped twitching! SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT!

Pros
  • Keep dogs entertained and engaged during meal times
Cons
  • May not prevent overeating in all dogs

Slows the eating down, but not anti-slip.

Got this for our dog who usually snarfs her food. Definitely slows her down and works perfectly for that.My one complaint would be how much it slides on our wood floors, it’s definitely NOT anti-slip.

Pros
  • Keeps floors and carpets clean by reducing spills and splashes
Cons
  • Not ideal for dogs who need to gain weight

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It’s not non slip best in my review

I wish the bowl was a lil deeper and was non slip. However it has helped slow my dog down from eating so fast which is the intent of it.

Pros
  • Loving this bowl! Ordered now a larger version because our puppy is growing up.
Cons
  • Can take longer to feed your dog

Not for cats good for me

I searched slow feeders for cats and loved the look of this so I bought it. Once I got it, my cat wouldn’t eat, I went back to this and read reviews and looked at the description and it’s definitely not for cats. What I read is that cats get whisker fatigue and won’t eat. I’m glad I was easily able to return this within a day. I would say that the quality and color were great! Sad it didn’t work out!

Pros
  • Can help reduce behavior problems such as food aggression
Cons
  • Not ideal for dogs who are recovering from surgery or illness

Not for puppies: my feedback

Got 2 of these. 1 for my puppy, 1 for my 2 year old dog. The puppy basically just dumped out the bowl. But it worked great for my older dog who also can't slow down when eating.

Pros
  • Don't Worry About Food Scattering
Cons
  • May not be effective at preventing vomiting

It slowed my was 11 week now 14 pit male puppy Rocky's eating. I feel better knowing he still eats fast but this slowed him up. So digest it better now. He finds the best way to get to it. An its easy to clean. It's like a puzzle game an so cute watching him eat. He used to eat out the dark blue one. I only give him water in it now.

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • Some dogs may simply learn to flip the bowl over
