Excellent plug. I had one like that when .

Great clutch. As a trained car mechanic, I have had one of these for many years. A coupler costs almost the same as a Flexzilla coiled hose, but you can justify the cost if you've ever had to change tools with one hand. This clutch brings lighter tools to your shopping cart with a simple push of a button. Also, a plastic body is less likely to scratch the paintwork than a crappy metal collar.

Automotive Style: AKA Truflate, Type T, or C Style.

Works great! I first bought 2 of these from a Matco seller for $45 each. I don't have the Matco anymore so I did a little research online and found them here for $16 each! I have ordered 2 more, love them. This is an automotive style fork: also known as a Truflate, Type T, or C style. They only work with these fittings. I've had them for 2 years with no leaks, breakdowns or other problems!

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Low repairability

Great connection! - Power & Hand Tools

I have been an ASE Master Technician for over 15 years. These are the only clutches that can withstand the abuse of a professional technician. The ease of switching on and off is superior to all others. They'll be worn after 5 years, but at $20, it's worth every penny. Try going back to a regular connector after years of use, you'll struggle with that. If you're a pro who uses pneumatic tools on a daily basis, get one of these! Your hands will thank you.

Pros
  • Nice to Use
Cons
  • Faulty

Great if you use tees on your tools.

I found this and got it after using and loving it when I was working in the auto shop. QD is much more comfortable when you can fumble around on the floor and only use one hand at a time. Make sure you know what connectors you have though, as this is a car or estate model and will not work with some tools that have connectors pre-installed or included in some package deals. However, you can find hardware for this in any hardware store or parts store at a reasonable price. Worth the money in my…

Durable and reliable. Not suitable for wrong sized cheap airline fittings.

I bought this mainly because my wife can't get the tools out of the compressed air line. But now that I've been using it for a while, I've just ordered three more for my other air vents. When used correctly, this element makes connecting and disconnecting almost as easy as if there were no pressure in the hose. Bonus - my wife can now check her tire pressure herself! One caveat - this muff works great with American T-Nipples such as those sold by Milton, Tru-Flate, etc. The cheap Chinese models
