I've updated a small parrot cage from the 70's. The only thing is that the plastic utensils have cracked every now and then. I could see the name on the bottom of one and decided to take a chance as the brand was the same. Fits perfectly!

Although I measured actual birdhouses and the dimensions were comparable to them, the cups were too big to fit through the cage doors. I would have wished for them otherwise because they are robust and take up a lot of food and water.

I've been looking for a new harness for my cockatiel cage for a long time (the cage is 20 years old). While not a perfect fit, they do fit snugly in the cage openings (the body fits in the cage opening and the side "wings" are wide/long enough to easily snag on the edges). My bird certainly won't know the difference and I only know when I put the dishes next to each other.

This item is a manufacturer replacement for the old standard bird cup. It's thinner and thinner than the original, which also had a more elongated cup shape. It fits in a slot but is less stable due to its thinness. It gets three stars for durability and fit. As for a more personal, inferior product, my old parrot is horrified at the new shape of this cup and flinches when I put it in his cage. So I don't use it; I found an old model at a flea market and am using it instead.

I ordered a product based on the article, the description and the picture. What I received was an item not pictured. The mugs I received are rounded instead of square as shown in the photo. Also, they're much thinner plastic and more brittle than the ones I replace, so they probably won't last as long as my bird chews on them sometimes. We did not receive the Prevue product as advertised or pictured but received a round replacement. The surprise was not appreciated, but they fit into the cage. After using the product I noticed that these are Prevue cups, just an older model and not a replacement product as I first thought.
