Great cage! Love it.

This cage came much quicker than the stated delivery time. It arrived in great shape. No damage other than a few small scratches on the surface. never mind The cage is beautiful. We couldn't choose between an 18" and a 20x24" cage. We decided on a larger one (20x24). So glad we did. We have 2 cockatiels in it, lots of toys and lots of space. A smaller cage would be a bit cramped. So we made the right choice. We love it and the birds love it. The only problem is that the birds can't get to the…

Ideal for my kennel

The cage is very high quality, I found a similar one at Petco for $259.00. My conure loves it and it's the perfect size for him. I would say this cage is too small for more than one Thiel. It could fit in a small Amazon. It was very easy to assemble, but still took about 30-45 minutes to assemble. I did a lot of research before making the investment and this cage is totally worth it. You could probably save some money by going for lower quality, but if you want a nice, easy-to-clean cage that…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Cage received with all parts but not all parts fit on the cage! The holes in the lower forage grapple wing panels did not line up, preventing us from using all of the screws for their intended purpose. The upper staircase is completely wrong. It's 1 step longer and doesn't fit the holes at all. As a result, we had to buy cable ties to hold it together. The whole set is disappointing. We attempted to contact Prevue directly at (312) 243-3624 to resolve the issue directly as we preferred to…

so good! We have a new place for birds.

We bought this cage for our kennel and it took me 35-40 minutes to put it together. It wasn't difficult to put together, the only thing that took effort was showing the wheels on the ends of the legs because they were very tight, but I don't think they'll come loose at all - ever. So far, so good! We have a new bird room and it's great! I think our conure is cozy and happy. We had the smallest cage and I'm definitely glad I didn't get a bigger size as I don't think it's necessary for smaller…

Bird tested, bird tested!

Great product. Our Green-Eyed Kennel has never been happier - seriously! While in each enclosure before, he would either mope or squeak in disapproval. Since he got a new home he is much better behaved and happily flapping about. I don't know if others will experience the same but our buddy loves it. It took maybe 2 hours to install but my wife and I were just hanging out so it probably could have been quicker. Cage and double cage door security (top latch and push button lock). There are only…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • OK

Just assembled but during assembly the paint literally peeled off all sides. One thing: it's just not safe for the bird because he can swallow it and I'm sooooo upset about it and secondly the cage can rust now, which isn't safe either. That alone is a huge disappointment, especially at the price I paid for everything falling apart. The disgusting placement of the cups and the way they are mounted makes it impossible to fit another bar in the cage between the cups. You must use the perch that…

African gray worthy!

I bought a 36x24x66 cage (Hammerton Black) for my gray parrot! She is adopted and came with a HUGE cage which prompted me to unhinge the doors to take her outside to clean :(This was extremely inconvenient so I went in search of a new cage. After lots of research and even more measurements, I settled on this one! It needs to be big enough to be comfortable but thin enough to fit through my doors without taking them off. It's PERFECT! She has enough room, if she needs to stay in (she comes and…

SUPER easy to clean

I bought one of these cages from a pet store. I am currently working on a desperate quick cage upgrade for one of my cockatiels. At first I didn't put much stock in it and just bought it at the exit of the store, thinking it was the nicest thing we had. I was absolutely right and now think this is the BEST bird cage and recently bought a second one from Amazon (the price is much better online). Other bird cages I have used are terrible to clean, you have to separate the bars from the bottom to…

and it was pretty easy. This is a great cage and it is very...

I have a green cheeked kennel and I bought an 18x18x57. I assembled it myself in about 1.5 hours and it was pretty easy. This is a great cage, very heavy and strong. I feel like some things about him are actually too big for a cockatiel or a small kennel - the playground upstairs seems awfully big for his little paws. You'll need some sort of ladder or something to hang on the side for your bird to climb up off the door. I also smelled the "gasoline" smell that other people have reported from…
