    Easy installation with YouTube video

    This kit provided me with all the parts to fix a faucet that has been dripping from the outlet for months. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to use this kit to replace defective parts. I had a plumber fix a leak at the top of the same faucet for over $100. He just swapped out the rubber O-ring. Done in less than 5 minutes. I had no intention of repeating that mistake. This repair is more difficult than that one, but no problem with video support.

    Missing dome seal on older 578 hydrants!

    I bought this product to restore an old 578 wall fire hydrant that uses domed packaging. Only the barrel seal was included, although both the right and left plastic seal nuts were cupped and designed to accept a domed seal. Luckily my old domed packing still worked adequately to prevent leaks, but I would have preferred the new packing as I had to over-tighten the packing nut. Hit others, buff the part of the stem that goes through the pack with steel wool before reassembling.

    Arrived quickly. I had all the parts I needed to fix my outdoor faucet that was leaking when turned on. I won't lie, sometimes these do-it-yourself projects make me a little scared. The video on the company's website (accessed via QR code/website on the back of the box) and a little emotional support from Dad helped a lot in giving me the confidence to try it.     Fixed a faucet that leaked under pressure for years

    Easy to install and solves a longstanding problem. Absolutely no leaks after installation. Installation is very easy, just google the instructions. Of course, you'll have to temporarily turn off the water in the house to install it, but that's literally a 10-minute job. Just make sure to install all the parts in the correct order. Write down which model you have and you can see the installation diagram on the back of the box to confirm which small parts go where. Please note that the package…

    Worked great. But you need a pipe!

    UPDATE May 2020 - I replaced these last year and loved it. Just turned on the water for the season and it's flowing again! It doesn't have to be a renovation every year! Very disappointed now - let's go back to the pipe to see if the rod itself could be part of the problem. This worked great and I only considered this option after realizing that replacing the entire antifreeze assembly was not an option due to lack of accessibility from the basement.     The taps were leaking, now they're gone!

    It would be 5 stars if instructions were included. Sure I've done some homework on their website and the videos they've posted are phenomenal, but I would have preferred a simple diagram for each hydrant type. It took me a while to figure out which fire hydrant I have and then more fun. I'm pretty sure mine didn't have an o-ring from the factory, so it was really fun to find out.
