Prime Line 6796 Bypass Guide Nylon Review

Two years ago I replaced the door guide with an all plastic model. It recently broke so I was looking for something stronger. The metal base fits the bill and is very flat.

These instructions were excellent for oak cabinet doors. However, it didn't work for carpet doors because the doors were cut to remove the carpet, so the 7/8" studs on this track were too short for the 1 1/4" height required.

It took a second person to get the doors out of the way. You will also need to remove the two outer plastic pieces/tracks when screwing them to the floor so you can get the screws in, but once in place attach the doors to the center piece/track, add the outer plastic pieces / Railed back and you can now slide your closet doors as they should.
