This is a really good product. It is very easy to install. Works well and can be used from either side of the door, left or right. If you have a sliding door that slides left to right, you need to toggle the lock, and then the lock's "flip" will work in reverse of what you normally have. You have to twist up to lock and down to unlock, but this works great. We managed it perfectly. You need very little experience to install this.

These sliding door handles were perfect! Excellent quality. They are slightly larger than the ones you can buy at hardware stores which is what I needed but couldn't find anywhere. I replaced the old brass rods so the hole was already cut and larger than what I could find locally. I had to cut about 1/8 inch more at the bottom but that's not a problem and these door handles fit like a charm.

We bought this to replace the Schlage 991 pocket door lock we installed in our guest half of the bathroom. This is much better processed and works great. The hose was smaller, thinner and just plain junk (hasn't worked since the day we installed it because the pin holding it together inside kept slipping out of place). This really brightened up the look of our old dilapidated pocket door along with a fresh coat of paint. I can't tell you how hard it was to find a pocket doorknob with a lock! Pros It works as advertised. The appearance of oil rubbed bronze is correct. The price is below average. Cons: Material looks good but feels very cheap (just tin and plastic). ok i think this applies to all locks of this type but the striker plate needs to be VERY precise to work smoothly and not bind. So take your time with this part to make sure it's perfect. Overall I'm happy with this lock, but if I saw it in person I'd probably pay an extra $10-20 for one of the heavier materials.

I have been searching online and in store for a FOREVER pocket door lock. It seemed to me that there was no intermediate option. In stores you can find cheap crap that barely locks, and on the internet you can find locks that cost over $500 and require special mortise cutouts in the door that cost even more.
