I saw a video on the Internet about repairing double wardrobe doors with my own hands (one fell off). I bought parts that are similar to mine and my husband and I fixed it in 10 minutes.

It only took five minutes to change the accessory on the line. Five. Protocol. Trust me, I'm NOT "skillful" AT ALL, and I just did it. There are videos and more. It works like new again. This is a simple set of hardware and a screwdriver. To the guy at the big hardware store who tried to tell me I needed a brand new door and that they would put me on the "schedule" and come and replace the door (but I'd have to paint it): Nice try.

I have old metal double doors all over my house. Year of production 1964, doors from floor to ceiling, good quality and (I thought) impossible to get parts for.
