A ball joint is an enclosed spherical bearing that connects the control arm to the steering knuckle or spindle - it is a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and it needs to be replaced as it wears out. A worn ball joint causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Replacing your worn ball joints gives a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling, and safety.

Horrible Suspension Upgrade Choice

As a result of using this product, I found that my ride quality worsened significantly. The "greasable" feature is barely noticeable and not worth the extra effort during installation. The bushings were also a pain to install and ended up clunking after a few weeks. This was a disappointing purchase and I would not recommend it for any automotive enthusiasts looking to upgrade their suspension.

Pros
  • None that I can see.
Cons
  • Poor ride quality, ineffective "greasable" feature, difficult installation, and noisy bushings.

Good quality but some parts were missing from the sealed bag

They appear to be good quality, not junk but one of the factory sealed bags was missing fine thread nuts. A quick trip to the hardware store fixed it, but it was frustrating. Makes me think about the rest of the QC products?

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Some minor things

Check parts for mirrors and part numbers

The picture and description says these lower ball joints can be greased but the 2 ball joints I bought were not greased. They also didn't have a part number like the picture on the web which made me doubt I got the product I paid for but rather a cheap fake. The part number on the plastic bags was correct and they may have fitted the truck but the other ball joints I ordered for the upper arms were also forged and had mirrors for greasing and the part number was on the parts but they would be…

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only
